Have you ever heard of perfection rejection?

It’s not exactly what you think it may be, though.

Let me explain. Perfection rejection is really just something that’s really good news. And you’re probably asking, “What are you talking about?

Well, I say this tongue in cheek but not completely. But I always tell my class or my students: perfection is the devil.

Why? Perfection is what is blocking you from getting seen, getting heard, and getting paid. It’s blocking you. I like to call this the P-word.

Why You Need a Mentor to Grow Your Business

Why You Need a Mentor to Grow Your Business

There once was a quote by Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, that goes like this: “Your mentors in life are important, so choose them wisely.”

Oprah Winfrey even has something to say about mentorship as well:

“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself. A mentor is someone who allows you to know that no matter how dark the night, in the morning joy will come. A mentor is someone who allows you to see the higher part of yourself when sometimes it becomes hidden to your own view.”

Because I didn’t want to miss out on a field trip to the beach, I chose not to go. Ah, the easy decisions kids make, right?

3 Ways to Build the Best Team

3 Ways to Build the Best Team

Someone once said that there is no I in team, and whoever said that is absolutely right. As a team, people are more likely to get everything done at a faster pace.

Even today’s most successful people have a team that works behind-the-scenes.

For example, your favorite celebrity has a glam squad to help them look their best for the red carpet. Scientists and their assistants would examine experiments together. Or even when you go to the store, the manager has employees to help manage the store as he works on other duties.

No matter where you go or what industry you’re in, there is always some form of teamwork at work.

The entrepreneur is no exception.
