Here’s Why It’s Okay to be a Vulnerable Entrepreneur

Here’s Why It’s Okay to be a Vulnerable Entrepreneur.001

Today, I want to ask you an important question.

How are you?

Okay, maybe I should rephrase that: How are you when the going gets tough?

The reason why I’m asking you this question is because it’s very easy to say things are doing well when, well, everything’s going great. Maybe you were able to get that one sale or those new plans you implemented are sailing through. But what about those times when things aren’t going too well and you feel like you’re on a sinking ship?

Believe me, I know this all too well.

Having been in the biz for over 18 years, I know that the world of entrepreneurship is like the ocean. And like the ocean, you have your good, sunny days that can easily turn into an unpredictable storm the next. It can feel like you’re losing your sanity at times.

And I bet you decide to put on a brave face and act like everything’s okay when you know too well you’re not.

I actually can’t stand it when people say that feelings like disappointment or anger shouldn’t affect you. But here’s the thing: you’re a human being with feelings. People tend to forget that the person running the business isn’t a robot. You have very real and valid feelings.

The question is, what are you gonna do with them?

In the world of psychology, it’s well known that if you continue to ignore and repress your emotions, they still have a way of expressing themselves, often in ugly ways. You see, these negative emotions need to be felt and they need to be dispelled. They need to be taken out of you. You need to feel them and be willing to not ignore them.

Here’s the bottom line: you’re allowed to be vulnerable. You’re allowed to take that extra break or even a day or two off. Heck, you’re allowed to place yourself first before your biz.

Just don’t be stuck in it.

So whenever you’re feeling the barriers or obstacles, the truth is is that it’s the same for all of us. The more you grow, the more you’ll experience people hating on your success, people stealing from you, and more people pretending that they like you even though they don’t. But that’s what happens on the journey up.

The best way to keep yourself grounded and focused on the ascension? Allow yourself to become a vulnerable entrepreneur before allowing yourself to go back to the hustle.

So, once you’re back hustling like you always do, it’s important to support yourself with other like-minded individuals. Not only can having a tribe motivate you to become better each and every single day, these team members can help you improve your biz as well as support you in your journey.

That’s why I want to invite you to the Master Brand Accelerator.

Join me and your tribe for 2.5 days of learning, fellowship, and entrepreneurship at Scottsdale, Arizona as we cover the four core steps to building a Master Brand:

  • Brand Archetypes: learn what your brand archetypes are and how to master your story.
  • Brand Audience: who they are and how to reach them effectively.
  • Brand Aesthetics, aka your brand’s colors, fonts, and every single thing in between.
  • Brand Activation: understand what systems your business needs to keep on growing to become a Master Brand

Remember, this will take place on November 4th-5th and spots are running out. Will I see you there?
